Areas of research:

Determination
of cancer localization
The MMS-Test detects all types of cancer. We develop different methods for identifying organ related cancer growth, to assist the
doctors with their differential diagnosis.
• Influence of certain pharmaceuticals
Most of the common used pharmaceuticals
bind to serum albumin and are transported to the target areas.
As in most cases, a medication may not be interrupted, we
investigate the impact of this binding on the transport
parameter of serum albumin.
• Sepsis / endogenic intoxication
The early detection of sepsis is of crucial importance for an effective therapy. The major task of albumin is the transport of nutriments and removal of toxins and metabolic waste products.
Toxins
occured by developing of sepsis play a decisive role at this disease. They modify the albumin transport parameter at an early
stage of sepsis. For detection of the modifications we develop a laboratory test on the basis of the MMS technology.
Research for pharmaceutical industry
We develop further tests on the basis of the MMS technology. These include the development of tests for evaluation of liver
and renal dialysis efficiency. Within the determination of transport parameters of albumin, the MMS technology could be used
to analyze the quality of albumin used for infusion or injection. Furthermore the efficiency of recombinant albumin could be
analyzed.
