Requirements :

For an adequate analysis we require:

• 3 -5 ml blood, stored at 8°C

• whole blood should attain to MedInnovation GmbH within 24 hours after sampling

• "pure" (centrifuged) serum should attain to us within 4 days after sampling

• no use of blood withdrawal system with anticoagulant or gel(except EDTA) and if possible no vacuum collection system

For regeneration of serum albumin after surgery, chemo therapy and/or irradiation, it is necessary to keep a time lag of four weeks before blood sampling.
